WOW its been a long day! Tax season just about kills me mentally.. HA On top of running around like a chicken with my head cut off today, ive been in worried/panic mode. I was informed this morning that my 17 year old brothers highschool had been threatened by a gang from another school close by and that the “replica of the columbine shooting” was supposed to take place today or tomorrow. Our police department was notified last night by a teacher from the other school who overheard kids discussing the “plan of attack” rumor that was going around. The threat was also made on facebook and the authorities are now invetsigating where the threats came from. Supposedly one of the gang memebers is a student at my brothers high school but they arent sure who it is or how to find out that info. This case has all been built by word of mouth. So do we take it seriously? Absolutely we do. There have been way to many shootings over the past few years not to.

They put the school on lockdown around noon today, (not allowing the students to leave or anyone to come on campus) and brought in the FBI as well as a few news stations. Undercover police have been stationed all around the area in hopes to prevent anything from happening. Can they? Talk about a scary world that we leave in. It is truly ashame that kids have to be terrified of going to school because of situations like this. I just wanted to share this information so that I can reach out to everyone in hopes for your prayers that this doesnt happen. I pray that God will allow the authorities to find these kids as soon as possible.

My best friend Avery (another photographer) & I went to FL for a short vaca and of course while we were there we had to pull out our cameras. She is primarily a children/family photographer, however she wanted to update her portfolio with a few new engagement type photos! She did a fabulous job controlling the shoot. It was fun getting to be on the other side of the camera for a change! And of course i found a model to shoot with me.. It was a blast! Here are a few images taken! No making fun of me

11. Having a great idea for an invention then discovering it already exists
12. People who give serious answers when playing family style games
