This couple was a blast. I love when i have a bride & groom who arent afraid to flaunt it. These two wanted to be supermodels for the day, and thats what we captured! This shoot was a little more edgy than most, but super cool. The shoot took place in Downtown Dallas at the new Joule Hotel. It was FABULOUS!

This was taken outside on the 10th floor in the shower by the pool… The glass tiles were oh so fun!

 Im being generous today! 2 posts Just wanted to share a few of my favs from a couple of senior sessions. These girls were fabulous to work with!

Remember how easy life was as a child; how everything was  so simple, yet so magical, & so big, yet so unforgettable.  I remember at one point in my life, feeling like i was a beautiful princess that lived in a wonderful magical world, now known as a “fairy tale”..  Surprise Surprise  In a way I’ve always carried that mentality with me…wanting my life to feel like a make-believe story. (talk about setting yourself up for disappointment! HA)  I had the opportunity to photograph these images for a children’s magazine last summer.  During the shoot, I couldnt help but to notice how each and every one of the little kiddos’ hearts was filled with such excitement. They were full of laughter, singing & dancing, eating popsicle after popsicle- which happened to be the highlight of their day, holding hands & playing, making big splashes in the pool, and i just couldnt take enough in. When I look at these images it fills my heart with joy.  To me they represent the picturesque way that I’ve always dreamed life could be.  Magical, beautiful and full of wonder.  In a surreal way I feel as though for a few brief moments I was living inside the perfect magical world.

Ok, so I am little biased, because she is one of my best friends, but gorgeous isnt she!

I had the pleasure of taking a fun “girls” road trip from Arkansas to Tampa Florida (16 hours i might add) with Avery (my best friend, old college roomate, bridesmaid to be- some day, photographer mentor, advice giver, a shoulder to cry on when i have a bad day, etc, etc… you get the picture), & my fabulous assistant who I will be introducing soon, Scarlet (my muse, my i dont know what id do without her friend)! Needless to say, it was a life changing experience! LITERALLY! So much happened that i cant wait to share with you! Ill tell all the juicy details soon… HA HA Stay Tuned :)

Anyways, prior to going, Avery asked me if we could do a TRASH THE DRESS session of her on the beach while we were there. I love when brides aren’t afraid to get a little dirty in their dress after the wedding. Rather than stick the dress in a box to store, what better way to preserve your dress than through a supermodel Bridal or Trash the Dress Session!
